About us: “Siano’s Strays” was incorporated as an 501(c)(3) charitable organization after the untimely passing of its founder, Marie Siano.

Marie's greatest passion in life was her love for animals, particularly cats. Since the 1980’s, she dedicated countless hours to cat rescue efforts while tirelessly advocating for their well-being.

Running her own rescue group, she specialized in trap, neuter, and return (TNR) programs, striving to make a difference in the lives of stray and feral cats.

Her home was a sanctuary for many feline friends, and she spared no effort in ensuring they had a comfortable, safe, and loving environment.

Marie's compassion knew no bounds, and her impact on the animal community will be felt for generations to come.

She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, selflessness, and unwavering devotion.

To carry this legacy forward, and to honor her memory, Marie’s son Mike (along with other family members, friends, and a dedicated group of volunteers) will continue her mission.
